Jacqueline Jossa, known for her role on EastEnders, has bravely shared the harrowing details of a terrifying armed robbery
that occurred at her holiday villa in Spain. The incident, which has left her deeply shaken, reveals the true extent of the fear
and trauma faced by her family.
A Shocking Discovery
The ordeal began on an ordinary night as Jacqueline struggled to sleep. To her horror, she woke to find two masked men rummaging through her belongings. The thieves, who were equipped with balaclavas, stole a staggering £20,000 worth of jewelry and money from the Marbella villa.
Jacqueline recounted the chilling moment when she first realized something was wrong. “I opened my eyes to see that our bedroom door was wide open, and I sleep with the door closed,” she told The Sun. The intrusion was marked by the unsettling glow of a torch cutting through the darkness. Panicked and disoriented, Jacqueline’s initial fear was that her children might have been taken by the intruders.
Heart-Stopping Moments
The reality of the situation quickly set in as Jacqueline saw the thieves making their escape. Her fear escalated when she imagined the worst possible scenario—one where her children might have been in the intruders’ grasp. “I was trembling and couldn’t really speak. I thought, oh my God, the kids… did he have a child in his hand? Did I see a little girl’s leg?” Jacqueline’s voice trembled as she described her frantic state of mind during the robbery.

In the midst of this nightmare, Jacqueline woke her husband, Dan Osborne, and together they checked every room to ensure their children were safe. “I had to reassure myself, touch them to make sure they were there,” she added. The thought of what could have happened had one of the children woken up during the incident was particularly distressing.
Gratitude Amidst Loss
Despite the significant loss of valuables, including her £7,000 engagement ring, Jacqueline expressed profound gratitude that her family remained unharmed. Reflecting on the incident, she shared, “I don’t think we will get our stuff back, but if one of us had woken up at a different time or someone had chased someone… it would have been much worse.”
Jacqueline’s bravery in confronting this traumatic experience and her focus on her family’s safety over material loss highlights the severity of the incident. The emotional scars from such a harrowing event are deep, but Jacqueline’s resilience and gratefulness for her family’s well-being underscore the importance of safety and the strength of the human spirit in the face of adversity.
