She’s never been out of the country. Her mom is confident she can handle France
and asks if Summer is the reason she’s hesitant to go.
Claire admits it. She’s been going out of her way to avoid any conflict, but the custody battle is becoming increasingly contentious.
She doesn’t want to do anything that would give Summer an excuse to have a problem with her.
Claire tells her mom what a great dad Kyle is. He’s smart and funny.
She insists that she doesn’t have feelings for him.
She adds he’s never been inappropriate.
