There’s an intriguing twist to come next week in
EastEnders as Johnny Carter (Charlie Suff) receives a surprise visitor.
But who could it be, you ask?
It’s only Olly Alexander! Yes that’s the Olly Alexander from Years and Years!
It turns out that he and Johnny are best friends and know
each other from way back, with It’s A Sin star Olly turning up to The Vic next week ahead of his Eurovision performance.
‘I’m thrilled to be making my first appearance on EastEnders and in the most iconic pub in the UK. I’m so happy I got to meet some true screen legends and spend time on set with the brilliant cast and crew,’ said the If You’re Over Me hitmaker.
Johnny, meanwhile, has been at the centre of a lot of drama following his return to Walford. He has played a key role in the aftermath of The Six storyline after finding out that his mum Linda Carter’s (Kellie Bright) killed Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters).
Though The Six helped her to cover it up, she has been terrified of being caught out, and even came close to confessing on several occasions.
