Sharon Newman has always been a character who strives to maintain control, but recent developments in Genoa City have deeply unsettled her.
Although she’s managing to keep her criminal activities under wraps, secrets rarely stay buried for long.
As Sharon’s mental state deteriorates, the truth about her role in Heather’s demise may soon be revealed, and Adam Newman could be crucial in the aftermath.
Sharon’s Hidden Crime and Her Mental Health Struggles
For the time being, Sharon is doing a fantastic job of hiding her crimes, but in Genoa City, secrets tend to leak.
We have to think about who might find out about the horrific things Sharon has done, since there may come a time when her secret will be revealed. Adam’s relationship with Sharon makes him the ideal character to introduce into this plot.
Fans of Y&R are aware that Adam was the one who initially assisted Sharon following her bipolar disorder diagnosis. Naturally, Sharon also assisted Adam in processing his childhood trauma and awareness that he had murdered AJ Montalvo.
When AJ was just a youngster, Adam sprang at him, leaving him on the ground with a deadly head wound. Adam might be able to deduce Sharon’s version of events if he follows enough hints and eventually gets her to tell them to him.
Adam can contend that Sharon’s absence of medication was the reason she wasn’t herself and that Heather’s fatal blow was an accident.
Will Adam Force Sharon to Seek Help?
Sharon has always struck Adam as having one of the purest spirits he has ever met. Adam will never consider Sharon to be a monster, especially if she tells him about her blackout and all of the mental torture Cameron has been causing her.
Furthermore, even when sane, Adam has committed some pretty terrible crimes, such as tampering with Victor’s medication or coming dangerously close to blowing up his family in the Newman Tower.
It appears likely that Adam will assist Sharon in her cover-up rather than expose her if he finds out that she disposed of Heather’s remains. Adam might be determined to assist Sharon since he won’t want to see her end up in jail and be cut off from her kids or grandchild.
Adam might, of course, make Sharon take all the medication she so much needs and make the doctor’s appointments she’s been promising to attend to.
Adam may attempt to rescue Sharon from her mental health crisis and conceal her part in Heather’s unfortunate outcome, but he can’t allow her to continue acting erratically.
Sharon believes she is to blame, but it’s possible that she is blameless because her supporters were blind to what happened during her blackout. If the police follow Heather, Sharon’s life will not go well, regardless of what actually happened to her.
