I’m hopeful that FBI season 7 will finally give Maggie the story I want for her. For the past seven years, Maggie has been one of the central characters in this police procedural, although she was once temporarily replaced by another character from the One Chicago universe when actress Missy Peregrym wasn’t available. Maggie and O.A. are one of several partnerships in the New York FBI Field Office that work together to catch terrorists and other violent criminals who are attempting to harm New Yorkers.
Over the past few years, Maggie has been going through a lot. Her PTSD after she was trapped in a room full of sarin gas made it difficult for her to focus on anything other than work, and in season 6, her friend and former mentor was killed, leaving a little girl behind who Maggie took in. Thus, she has not had any time to focus on anything other than her work and taking care of her foster daughter. However, I’m pleased that recent FBI Season 7 updates suggest that may be about to change.
It Sounds Like Maggie May Get A Romance Story In FBI Season 7
Missy Peregrym recently teased Maggie’s FBI season 7 story, and while she was careful to sidestep the question of romance, she didn’t rule it out, either. Peregrym confirmed that Maggie would have more stories focused on her personal life than she had in the past, which reinforced my belief that she would no longer be focused solely on her work life. Peregrym also said that Maggie would have to make some changes in order to care for her foster daughter properly, including turning to someone for help instead of trying to do everything herself.
