‘How dare you!’ FBI fans rage as CBS show kills off beloved character in ‘heartbreaking and stupid’ storyline
Fans were left furious after the show killed off Jessica Blake (played by Charlotte Sullivan) in Tuesday’s new episode, just weeks after she joined the show.
Charlotte’s character quickly became a fan-favorite as FBI fans loved seeing the actress back onscreen with her former Rookie Blue co-star, Missy Peregrym.

Now in its sixth season, FBI gave fans a reunion between Charlotte and Missy when the former’s character, Jessica, joined for a recurring role earlier this season.
Viewers, though, admitted they didn’t expect the newcomer’s role to end in tragedy.

In Tuesday’s new episode, Jessica admitted she’d been feeling dizzy and tired, leading doctors to find a mild aneurysm.

Before undergoing surgery, she asked Maggie to be her daughter Ella’s temporary guardian, to which her old pal agreed.

“Jessica just ‘conveniently’ dying just as #Maggie is thinking of becoming a mom leaves me with a sour taste in my mouth,” one upset fan wrote on social media.
“I am sorry tonights episode was a poorly written episode,” a second viewer tweeted. “…No build up at all for the Maggie storyline and then her friend just conveniently dies. Like what?”

“That was unexpectedly sad,” a third fan said on X (formerly Twitter). “If they killed Jessica off just for Maggie to adopt her kid, it’s a bit stupid. Imo.”

“Oh my god, this is not how Maggie wanted to become a mom,” another fan insisted.

“Did they really just kill off a character so Maggie could have a kid,” one X user asked. “Please tell me I’m wrong.”
