Lisa Riley has pretty much confirmed the return of a controversial Emmerdale character.
At the end of May, it was revealed newcomer Ella Forster (Paula Lane)
killed her friend when she was a child after the girl said she no longer wanted to be mates with her.
We learnt that Ella had come from a very deprived background and this girl’s
mother, June, had been the only adult who’d ever taken an interest in her and made her believe she was worth something. The thought of losing June as well made her see red.
Ella, who struck up a romance with village GP Dr Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson), had been punished for her crime and in the years since had moved from place to place, always having to move on when someone inevitably found out about her past.
