Emmerdale fans finally found out what happened to Rose Jackson on Monday night.

The character vanished a few weeks ago on the ITV soap with her feared dead. But her true fate and her whereabouts

were confirmed on Monday, as fans found out who had taken her – or not taken her as it transpired.

Dawn Fletcher was confirmed to be the mystery driver who came across Rose in the middle of nowhere. Kim Tate and Will Taylor had dumped her there after they found out her plan to break them up.

Rose had slept with Will but didn’t tell this to Kim when she was handed some cash and told to leave and never come back. But now it’s been revealed that Dawn found her mum while she was driving to the hospital, with her baby son Evan currently receiving treatment after a leukaemia diagnosis.

After Dawn shared her concerns in recent weeks seemingly unaware of why her mum had left and where she’d gone, it emerged she knew everything all along. Despite Will messaging Dawn pretending to be Rose, telling her she had to go, he had no idea that Dawn knew all about his and Kim’s lies.

Flashbacks showed Dawn finding Rose and realising she was leaving the village. We then saw Rose tell her all about her plan with Ruby Miligan, and the fact she slept with Will.

Rose explained that Kim and Will had left her in the middle of nowhere, paying her to leave for good. Will was shocked to find out Dawn knew everything and had done for weeks.

Dawn then confessed she had been the one to drive away with Rose, with her dropping her off at the airport. It seems Rose has gone back to Spain where she was living before her village arrival earlier this year.

But Rose did not take the money Will had given her, and instead she gave it to her daughter. She urged Dawn to move out of Home Farm using the money, warning her things would get bad if she stayed around Will and Kim. But has Rose left for good?
