Bernie Taylor (Clair Norris) is having a difficult
time in EastEnders, following brother Keanu’s murder.
Viewers will know that Keanu was stabbed to death
by Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) on Christmas Day,
as he tried to strangle Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean).
Following the terrifying ordeal, the rest of The Six agreed to help cover up the murder by burying Keanu’s body in the cafe.
Months later, Bernie and Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) discovered his body beneath the floor, and she soon headed to Spain to inform mum Karen of the tragic turn of events.
Though Sharon was initially arrested, The Six soon teamed up to frame Dean Wicks (Matt Di Angelo), who was later charged with the murder.
Following the collapse of the cafe floor, Vinny Panesar (Shiv Jalota) had no choice but to shut up shop, though he is set to reopen the business in upcoming scenes.
As he hands out leaflets announcing the reopening, Linda and Denise Fox (Diane Parish) are wracked with guilt, while a tearful Bernie watches on.
Vinny invites an emotional Bernie inside, but she refuses, given recent events.
