Kojo Asare will go missing on EastEnders next week after Elaine and George have a big argument.
Kojo arrived in Walford last week (August 27) alongside Kobina, with the pair revealing that they were George’s brothers and had travelled from Ghana to be there.
Kobina shared with George that Kojo often needs to be restrained due to his autism, with George offering to take care of his brother after Kobina returned home.
In next week’s scenes, Elaine is shaken up following a difficult conversation, while George and Kojo have a fun day out together. Their joy is short-lived after Johnny accidentally triggers Kojo.
Kojo hits out at him following the incident, with Elaine subsequently explaining to George that they cannot meet Kojo’s needs. Unbeknownst to them, Kojo is listening in on the whole conversation.
George tries to defuse the situation by making a drink for his brother and explaining the situation, but he cannot find him after he’s slipped out of The Vic. He is furious that his brother has gone missing and blames Elaine for the situation.
He calls the police but freezes Elaine out of the search, all while Kojo wakes up from his hiding place and heads for the tube station. George’s son Junior spots him and attempts to convince him to come back with him, but Kojo states his desire to return to Ghana.
Junior, who recently had an affair with George’s ex-wife Cindy, heads to hers for some advice, with Cindy saying he should give George a chance to sort things out. The advice works, with George and Junior sharing a heartfelt moment.
Though the pair seemed to be on the right path, will they be able to convince Kojo to stay in Albert Square? Or will he head back to Ghana to reunite with Kobina?
