George Knight (Colin Salmon) has had a rough
time of it in EastEnders recently, but things got
even worse in Monday night’s (May 6) episode.
Anna Knight (Molly Rainford) was left devastated
last week when she finally got in contact with granddad Eddie, and discovered that he had already held Gloria’s funeral.
Gloria had died in George’s arms only weeks before, and George was left furious when Eddie banned him from the funeral, and grew more determined to attend in spite of his father’s warnings.
When George made it clear that he wasn’t going to give up until he found out more information about the funeral, Anna and Gina (Francesca Henry) realised that they had to tell him the tragic news sooner rather than later.
