EastEnders actor Lorraine Stanley has announced
another new role following her departur from the BBC One soap.
Lorraine’s character Karen Taylor left Albert Square
last year, and has already been confirmed for a
feature film. She has now announced a new on-stage project.
The actor will play Queen Rat in a pantomime of Dick Whittington in Portsmouth later this year, starting at the end of November and carrying on through to New Year’s Eve

“I can’t wait for this!!!! Panto in my home town with me old mate Jack Edwards is going to be epic!!!” she wrote on her Instagram.
“Ratty is coming to play Kings Theatre get your tickets early (link in bio) and I’ll see you after the show.”
Tickets are available to purchase now, starting from £10. There will be a British Sign-Language performance, as well as a date for a relaxed performance.
