If Sugar’s possible accomplice turns out to
be Sheila’s prisoner, Finn and Deacon will
undoubtedly feel sorry for her. Although Sugar
was the only one who did it, Sheila has been held
accountable for showing up at Steffy’s house with the intention of permanently removing her.
Naturally, Sheila has also been kept apart from Finn and Deacon, so there’s more reason to feel sorry for her.

The show appears to be trying to soften Sheila’s dark side and give her an opportunity to develop a genuine bond with her kid.
Sheila may be accepted by Finn, who might also encourage her to enjoy some Grandma time with Hayes. She feels like she’s getting her life back on track in so many amazing ways, and she could even formally become Deacon’s wife.
