Just weeks after his EastEnders return was confirmed,
it has been announced that Bobby Brazier will be taking
on a new role in Paramount+ drama Curfew.
The Freddie Slater star, 20, is currently on a break from the BBC One soap.
His new role will see him appear alongside some Walford
legends – Anita Dobson, Lucy Benjamin and Larry Lamb, who played Angie Watts, Lisa Fowler and Archie Mitchell.
Curfew, which began filming at the beginning of this year, is an adaptation of Jayne Cowie’s novel After Dark.
Bobby will play James, a vocal schoolboy who is strongly against the rules imposed on their community.
Lucy Benjamin is DCI Sue Ferguson, one of the policing team overseeing the investigation and Larry Lamb stars as Rhys Holden, a man who arrives in the UK from America and struggles to live under the restrictions.
Anita Dobson will appear as Janet, a woman who runs a refuge for women who don’t want to cohabit with men.
