Michelle Collins is very much part of the fabrics of
Albert Square, having played Cindy Beale for years.
The much-loved actress first took on the role in 1988
until 1998, before reprising the iconic character in 2023,
shocking everyone when she turned up in France with Ian Beale, played by Adam Woodyatt, 25 years after she was killed off.
And while fans love the drama she brings to Walford, some viewers have warned Michelle that Cindy is actually ‘too nice’.
As a result, they’ve demanded darker storylines to really keep them on edge – which Michelle has vowed to deliver.
Appearing on The One Show on Friday evening (April 26), the former Coronation Street star promoted her other upcoming projects, including a film called Stephen which is about recovery and addiction.
At the end of the programme, she mentioned another film in the pipeline named Self Storage, which tells the true story of a woman who lived in a storage unit for nine months during lockdown.
