The Young and the Restless hints at incredible surprises to come—it seems Sharon has kil.led Heather!
But is Heather really dead, or is it just a product of Sharon’s madness, similar to what happened with Cameron?
In the previous episode, viewers witnessed Sharon’s dramatic entry into Daniel’s apartment, intending to poison his whiskey, but she quickly reconsidered.
Sharon’s Psychosis
In an odd moment, she imagined herself fighting with an imaginary version of Cameron over the poisoned bottle, resulting in a chaotic scene in which she accidentally knocked over numerous glasses.
Sharon attempted to flee after cleaning up the smashed glass, but she ran into Heather unexpectedly.
Heather questioned Sharon about her presence in the penthouse, forcing Sharon to tell a series of absurd tales.
She initially claimed that Daniel had just walked out and requested her to wait for him, but Heather rapidly exposed her lies.
Heather mentioned that she was aware Daniel had supper with Phyllis and Summer before driving out to pick up Lucy.
Sharon changed her story, saying she had some issues talking with Daniel, so she called him and claimed the doorman allowed her into the flat to wait for him.
Heather approached Sharon, arguing that she was lying since she knew Daniel would not leave Sharon alone in their apartment given her recent instability.
Sharon broke down in tears, expressing her anguish over Cassie and her desire for Daniel, Heather, and Lucy to leave town to avoid the horrible memories.
Murder, Mayhem, and Madness
Heather sympathized with Sharon, but she was plainly angered by Sharon’s use of Cassie as an excuse to target her family, reminding Sharon that Cassie crashed the car when Daniel was intoxicated.
Heather and Sharon are still bickering when Heather notices some glass that Sharon has neglected while cleaning.
Heather queries Sharon about it, and Sharon claims she has no idea where the glass came from.
When it becomes clear that Sharon will not divulge the truth about why she is at the apartment or how she got there, Heather picks up the phone and dials the police.
Sharon immediately slaps the phone from her hand, and things swiftly escalate–sensing something is wrong with Sharon, Heather mentions contacting the cops or Nick, and Sharon snaps.
Heather goes to retrieve her phone as Sharon attempts to escape; recognizing Sharon is fleeing, Heather runs to the front door and grabs her arm.
