As EastEnders gears up to celebrate its 40th anniversary, fans are in for a treat with the return of a major legend:
Ross Kemp, known for his role as Grant Mitchell. While a full comeback may not be on the cards, Ross will host a special
documentary reflecting on the soap’s biggest moments. He’ll interview both past and present stars, exploring the show’s
significance in television history.
Grant Mitchell, introduced alongside his brother Phil in 1990, has been a beloved character, though he left Walford in 1999. Since then, Ross has made brief returns for significant storylines, including Peggy Mitchell’s farewell in 2016. Outside of EastEnders, he has built a reputation as a hard-hitting documentary maker, covering serious topics globally.
In addition to Ross’s documentary, viewers can look forward to the return of other fan-favorite characters, including Bianca Jackson and Ruby Allen. A special live episode will also allow fans to vote on storylines, adding an interactive element to the celebration.
With these exciting developments, the 40th anniversary promises to be a memorable event for EastEnders fans. Stay tuned for all the drama and nostalgia!
