EastEnders’ Jean Slater is set to make a discovery about newcomer Maya Houssain in new scenes.
Doctors star Bharti Patel arrived on the Square as Maya last month,
where she befriended Jean’s partner Harvey Monroe after he gave her
a lift in his taxi.
The pair bonded over their love of Tottenham Hotspur and shared a heart-to-heart when Maya revealed her husband died last year.
Harvey later became suspicious of his new friend after she deleted her online account, though she explained away his worries by explaining she was concerned about being scammed.
